CROWN CERTIFICATION SEMINAR.   Saturday, August 29, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Corinth Baptist Church in Elizabeth City (1035 US 17 business South), 335-7287 or 334-1500.  This conference is different than the upcoming regional conferences.  Participants will become certified to be a Crown financial trainer.  Pre-registration and payment must be made with Corinth Baptist. 

SUNDAY SCHOOL REGIONAL NORTHEAST TRAINING. Saturday, October 3, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 1405 Bolling Rd. Roanoke Rapids, 27870.  This is the annual major Sunday School leadership training, led by state-trained workers.  Fully age-graded training in the morning, and specialized training in afternoon workshops.  On-line registration is made by going to link www.cbcrr.org.  Click on “contact us” and register in the submit messages block.  Or, you may call the church at 252-537-9828.  Cost is $10 per person, includes lunch.  Cost for groups of more than 7 from the same church is only $75.

IAND (It’s a New Day for Financial Freedom) – CROWN SEMINAR Saturday, October 24, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the West Chowan Association office in Ahoskie (252-332-3235).  Registration is $20 per pastor/staff and spouses are encouraged to attend at no additional charge.  Fee structure is the same for laity.  Church treasurers and finance committees are also encouraged to attend.  Theme: How to live off what God provides.  Biblical and practical principles for getting out of debt and living debt free.  Register at www.sbc.net/newday or with the West Chowan Association at 332-3235 or wcba@net-change.com
