Turning Classes into Communities
Submitted by Steve Lizzio,
Pastor of Adult Ministries at Hope Church in Mason, Ohio.
I have a website
that shares some new ideas to turn adult classes into communities. Check out
my website at www.abfresources.com.
The purpose of the website is two-fold: To spread the word about the Adult
Bible Fellowship (ABFs) philosophy of ministry and 2) To make some resources
that I (and others) have developed available to the broader Body of Christ.
Many adult Sunday School programs in churches are struggling, having lost
their direction. These resources are a new wineskin for the adult Sunday
School.
A Co-laborer in Christ,
Steve Lizzio
Pastor of Adult Ministries

The
Idea of the Month
for July continues on
the theme of starting new classes. This month’s idea is on “Starting
Classes Outside the Box.” Pastor Brad Wicks shares about a creative class
that James River Assembly in Ozark, Missouri started called the Mayberry
JRA class. It is based off of the old TV series, the Andy Griffith Show.
There is a curriculum that has been developed for the different episodes.
You will be energized when hear the story of how this ABF is reaching out
to new people. Just go to
www.abfresources.com and check it out!
