in Ahoskie, 252-332-3235. This conference will feature a 4-person panel
of seasoned pastors who have spent over 30 years each in the ministry.
Most have pastured the same church for 20 years or more. The panel will
discuss 10 areas of ministry: 5 on personal life habits, and 5 on ministry
issues. This will be a lively discussion, and will be designed for
pastors with 10 years or less experience in the pastorate. There is no charge.

REGIONAL SUNDAY
SCHOOL AND MORE CONFERENCE.
Saturday, October 16th
from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Rocky Hock Baptist Church, Edenton. Cost will be
$15 per person, or a maximum of $100 for groups of 7 or more that come
from the same church. Morning sessions
will be age group training for teachers of preschoolers, children,
youth/teens, adults, and directors/pastors. The directors and pastors
morning session will be titled How to Double Your Sunday School
using the Josh Hunt materials. The afternoon sessions will be on
different leadership topics, including how to do effective church council,
youth council, children’s ministry, deacon ministry, music ministry.
Various specialists will be enlisted to lead the conferences. Lunch is
