New
Prospect Visitation Manager software available to help with outreach
and ministry
How do you keep up with all the prospect
discovery, paper work, reports, and assignments for effective outreach?
Fact is, many churches don’t!
The new
“Prospect Visitation Manager” computer software may be just
the tool to help. Prospect Visitation Manager can greatly speed up and
facilitate prospect assignments, tracking reports, sending special
letters, and posting results of visits. Pastors, ministers of education
and evangelism, and church outreach directors may want to consider PVM
to enhance efforts at identifying, cultivating, and reaching people.
The
main purpose of the Prospect Visitation Manager is to
maintain and utilize the church's list of prospects prospect roster in an
orderly manner. The
goals are (1) to facilitate and make it easier to regularly assign
prospects for visitation and contact, (2) to post results of cultivative
contacts, and (3) to use these cumulative notes to inform outreach leaders
about progress in reaching and ministering to prospects. The data
collected for each person allows the computer to do "the tedious
task" of managing a prospect file for visitation.
Developed by a former minister of education, the system is a
computerized version of a manual system used by the author while serving
as a church staff member.
