ONE
LIFE INVESTED FOR JESUS AS A SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER BEARS ABUNDANT FRUIT
Mr. Kimball, a shoe clerk and Sunday School teacher in
Chicago,
loved boys and sought to reach them for Jesus. Through him a boy named D.
L. Moody came to Jesus in 1858. D. L. Moody, while preaching in England
in
1879, had a great spiritual influence on F. B. Meyer. F. B. Meyer won a
young college student, J. W. Chapman, to Christ. J. W. Chapman brought a
message of Christ to a baseball player named Billy Sunday. The Lord used
him in a powerful way in evangelism. Billy Sunday held a revival in
Charlotte,
North
Carolina. Because of the success of that meeting, Mordecai Hamm was invited to
preach a similar meeting. Mordecai Hamm was preaching in that meeting when
a young teenager named Billy Graham gave his life to Jesus.
These
names are all well known in the Lord’s Hall of Fame. It all began with
Mr. Kimball. God needs more teachers like Mr. Kimball. OUR CHURCH NEEDS
MEN AND WOMEN LIKE MR. KIMBALL! Eternity alone will reveal the influence
of FAITHFUL SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS who have invested their lives in boys
and girls, men and women, to help them come to know and love Jesus.

Sunday School teachers!)
