| Robert C. Stewart, Certified SkillTrack

In addition to over 40 years of ministry
experience in local churches and associations, and as a consultant with the
Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, Robert Stewart is a certified
trainer for SkillTrack with the Moench Center for Church
Leadership Development, Belmont University, Nashville, Tennessee. He served
as Minister of Education and Associate Pastor for Education and
Administration in churches in Lawton, Oklahoma, Greenville, South Carolina,
and Greensboro, North Carolina. Following this local church ministry, Robert
served for over 25 years with the Baptist State Convention of North
Carolina. Ministries there included service as Sunday School Department
Director, as Church Programs and Congregational Development Division
Director, and Bible Teaching Reaching Team Leader. As a Senior Consultant
with the convention he assisted churches with strategic and long-range
planning, vision casting, and with teaching and leadership skill
development. He has taught at Ridgecrest and Glorietta, led conferences in
Kentucky, South Carolina, Virginia, and Maryland in addition to across North
Carolina. Writing credits include Bible study curriculum for Sunday School,
teaching resource kits, and feature articles for the Baptist Sunday School
Board/Lifeway Christian Resources. He has led mission trips for Sunday
School and Bible Teaching Improvement in Brazil, South Africa, and Alaska.
He has deep concern for helping pastors and church leaders strengthen their
ministries through leadership skill development. His teaching style is
interactive, personal, with sensitivity to the needs of participants.
